Campus life at CUD is varied as the city of Dubai is the most well-populated city in the UAE. Unique student clubs are available to participate in such as the robotics club, model United Nations, dance and drama club, and more.

An architecturally unique building, CUD offers a range of state-of-the-art facilities for students enhancing their learning in the different faculties. The research facilities at the university are a stand-out feature as you can find a nanotechnology laboratory, sustainability and clean energy research center and even a cybersecurity research center located all on campus. The library has an impressive wealth of resources to empower students in their studies and there are a number of tempting treats or meal options in the many dining options around campus.
The sports facilities are surplus and designed to help students stay fit and healthy. Students can use the gym in town or participate in many of the sports clubs that are designed to get students involved in group activities such as using the volleyball court or football field.
The university offers student accommodations to students who are full-time and have paid their tuition fees. All students benefit from a space to relax or study in, with UAE laws listed on their website for students to abide by. Located just shy of 25 minutes from the main campus by bus, all accommodations are overseen by resident officers and come on a first-come, first-served basis. All accommodations are self-catering and fully furnished 1-bedroom studio apartments. Separate lounges and study rooms are available for male and female students.
CUD has partnerships with several student housing providers nearby so students wishing to live in a shared apartment or purpose-built student accommodation can arrange this individually.
