About the University

The Central Film School is a leading specialist institution in the heart of London.

Established in 2008, it offers undergraduate degrees in Practical Filmmaking and Screenwriting, as well as short courses and postgraduate degrees. It has a strong reputation for its links with philanthropic foundations, exceptional alumni and leading filmmakers.

Campus Life

The Central Film School has partnered with London Nest to ensure that local and international students can find their ideal accommodation for the duration of their studies. London Nest can offer varied accommodation at affordable prices to ensure that you are safe and secure while studying.

The School has a range of specialist facilities available to students including a Studio with Green Room, Screening Theatre, Edit Suite, Production Room, Kit Room, Prop Room and Post-production Suite. 

All student films are also shot on professional-grade equipment. There is also a large library with a wide range of books, magazines and DVDs, as well as access to the British Film Institute's library for free.
