On its main campus in Norwalk, Cerritos has many state-of-the-art facilities. In 2017, the campus had a $55 million expansion to include a Maths and Computer Information Sciences building and a Fine Arts area.

The Wilford Michael Library and Learning Resource Center are available to all students. This facility has books, ebooks, IT resources and a study hall. In addition, students can access instructional programs, services and resources to support academic learning. Also, technical support for personal and university equipment is available through the Computer Services Department at Cerritos College.

City Life

Cerritos’ campus in Norwalk is well-placed for students to explore the local area and wider California. In Norwalk, students will find many outdoor spaces and activities at the local parks, the Aquatic Pavilion outdoor pool, and the Norwalk Nature Center. The city also has a Cultural Arts Center and the Mary Paxon Art Gallery. There are also plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants.

However, the Cerritos campus is just a 20-minute drive from downtown LA where students can explore some of the US’s well-known tourist attractions. In LA, students can find the Hollywood Walk of Fame, visit film studios and head to Sunset Boulevard. Also nearby are some of California’s best beaches, including Long Beach and Santa Monica.
