Cerritos College is a community college in Norwalk, California. The college offers higher education opportunities to its diverse student population. It also has low-cost tuition fees and provides 180 subjects through 87 degree and certificate programs.
Cerritos aims to provide high-quality, comprehensive instructional programs and support services. Today Cerritos is one of the five largest community colleges in Los Angeles County, with over 20,000 students enrolled.
On its main campus in Norwalk, Cerritos has many state-of-the-art facilities. In 2017, the campus had a $55 million expansion to include a Maths and Computer Information Sciences building and a Fine Arts area.

Cerritos College provides cultural and social support programs to ensure student engagement in the community. Students can develop socially and culturally on campus through many extracurricular activities and clubs.
The college has its own newspaper (Talon Marks Newspaper) and radio station (WPMD Radio) that students can join. Also, Cerritos has active sports and athletics teams for basketball, baseball, football, soccer, water polo and more. Regular student support events take place daily. These include art exhibitions, talks and seminars on various academic and non-academic subjects.
Campuses
Cerritos campus in Norwalk is well-placed for students to explore the local area and wider California. In Norwalk, students will find many outdoor spaces and activities at the local parks, the Aquatic Pavilion outdoor pool, and the Norwalk Nature Center. The city also has a Cultural Arts Center and the Mary Paxon Art Gallery. There are also plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants.
However, the Cerritos campus is just a 20-minute drive from downtown LA where students can explore some of the US's well-known tourist attractions. In LA, students can find the Hollywood Walk of Fame, visit film studios and head to Sunset Boulevard. Also nearby are some of California's best beaches, including Long Beach and Santa Monica.
