At Fulton-Montgomery Community College, students have access to modern facilities. In the mid-1990s, the campus expanded to include an art wing, a theatre, and a TV studio. Also, a dedicated student social area, Raiders Cove, opened. Here students can use a cafe, gaming tables, an entertainment stage, and several large-screen TVs. For sports lovers, the campus has a Fitness centre, gym, and resources for soccer, volleyball, baseball, basketball and softball.

The 195-acre campus also has state-of-the-art video, audio, and editing resources and the Evans Library. Specialist equipment for manufacturing, healthcare, and electrical technology is also available.

City life

The Fulton-Montgomery Community College campus is near Johnstown, in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. In Johnstown, students will find locally run shops, restaurants, and bars. In addition, the city has a movie theatre and historic and cultural sites to see, including the Amsterdam Riverfront and Old Fort Johnson. The town is small but welcoming to students.

Johnstown is about an hour west of Albany, New York. Here students can find more of a big city atmosphere. But they can also take in some of the state’s natural beauty via boat tours, surfing and hiking routes.

Employability

Fulton-Montgomery provides affordable tuition for its courses. Also, the establishment runs financial aid for every undergraduate student through the Your Future Matters Scholarship. Furthermore, international students do not apply for this scholarship as part of their application. It is automatically applied upon enrolment. However, students must meet certain standards to maintain the scholarship. This includes completing a minimum of 12 credits for Fall and Spring and keeping a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0.
