Graceland University

Facilities
At Graceland’s Lamoni campus, new students join a community of over 1,000 peers. Each student integrates into the university community by joining one of the 17 houses. Students then remain a member of this house for the duration of their course. Students can also join one of the 22 athletics varsity teams or 37 clubs and organisations located at the Lamoni campus.
As an arts-based university, Graceland has lots of academic research facilities available. The university has two libraries that students can access, which contain books, films, computers and government documents. Furthermore, the Grabske Library has health and medicine-specific resources to support students.
In addition, the campus has a sports centre with an Olympics standard athletics track and a newly renovated student union.
Accommodation at Graceland is on campus, with five different halls available. Each hall of residence is separated into 17 houses. Each house has around 45 students, and they support students with integrating into community life.
Also, there are different types of accommodation and different levels of service available. Some rooms are shared, others semi-private, and others are completely private. Graceland also requires all full-time undergraduate students to live in on-campus accommodations.
City life
Graceland has many services on campus for students. However, the local town of Lamoni offers alternative entertainment. Here, students can find coffee houses, a movie theatre, bike trails, several parks, and recreation facilities.
The closest city to Graceland is Des Moines, about an hour's drive from the campus. Also, Kansas City is just under two hours to the south, while Omaha, St Louis and Chicago are reachable but slightly further away.
