You’ll also investigate the media’s role in relation to communication. NTU’s COMMUNICATION AND SOCIETY course will encourage you to make sense of the transformations which our societies, technologies and personalities are undergoing. Throughout the course you'll examine communication between individuals, groups, organisations and humanity. The core aspect of this course draws on Psychology and Sociology, and also includes aspects of Philosophy, History and Anthropology. This course will provide you with a wide range of skills and knowledge to match the broad selection of career prospects. You'll develop; excellent written and oral communication, critical analysis skills, a variety of IT skills, develop team working skills and time management skills. The real life projects that students have undergone with the support of influential organisations has led to the success of many graduates forging exciting careers within well-known and small to medium sized companies. Recent COMMUNICATION & SOCIETY AND MEDIA graduates have also gone on to work in graduate-level positions with; the BBC, Sky, Brit Asia TV, Channel 5 and IBM.
