Completion of this course will equip you with the knowledge, skills, attitude and behaviour required for a career in policing and other law enforcement agencies.

Our excellent facilities for role play scenarios will allow you to put your knowledge in to practice in a safe learning environment. Our Policing Skills Labs comprise an immersive learning suite, interview rooms, crime scene houses, road policing scenarios, a custody suite and mock court room, all of which add to your learning experience.

This course develops your ability to utilise research skills, evaluate existing bodies of knowledge, critically evaluate new information and ideas, and accept accountability for your actions and decisions. Methods of teaching and learning are varied to facilitate application of knowledge to practice and include practical exercises, role-play activities, immersive learning, interview suites and field trips. There is a strong emphasis on employability skills throughout this course affording graduates potential employment within areas of law enforcement.

Our graduates will be an attractive employment proposition for many law enforcement agencies such as the Police, Border Agency, Local Authority, National Crime Agency and Independent Police Complaints Commission.
