The University library is the largest in the state of Idaho. Therefore, students are well-supported in terms of literary resources, with many books, journals, and other media available. Research assistance and instructional support are two of the support services available at the library. The Student Union Building includes a food court, coffee shops, student government offices, meeting rooms, a game room, a movie theatre, and a ballroom, showcasing the University’s commitment to providing student leisure opportunities. A Recreation Center is also located on campus, with a fitness center, indoor track, basketball court, volleyball courts, a climbing wall, a swimming pool, and outdoor recreation fields all included. Students in specific disciplines also benefit from the use of laboratories. A Women’s Center was implemented to promote gender equity on campus. The Kibbie Dome is the largest indoor event facility in the state of Idaho, and the Lionel Hampton School of Music hosts a variety of concerts and performances throughout the year.
