This course aims to conduct in-depth research into a topic that interests you in a supportive academic environment. Members of staff in the School of History and Heritage aim to provide you with the academic support to conduct in-depth research into the topic that interests you. Example areas of research expertise in the School include medieval history and modern British history. You will join a vibrant academic community with regular research seminars, such as the History and Heritage seminar series. The School’s academics are leading researchers, authors and editors of books, contributors to international research projects and conferences, broadcasters, conservators, and experts in heritage. Career and Personal Development: This programme aims to develop advanced knowledge and high-level research skills which may be highly valued in the heritage and museum sectors, teaching and research roles. Some graduates choose to progress to study at doctoral level.
