BA Law and Society

Law and Society is an interdisciplinary program. It examines the theory, practice, and social consequences of law through a variety of research methods and modes of analysis. You will learn to think critically about the law, legal systems in Canada and abroad, and how the law intersects with pressing political, economic, environmental, and social issues. If you are seeking a dynamic and multidisciplinary approach to the study of law, this program is ideal for you. It is possible to earn a major in Law and Society alone, or you may combine it with another discipline to receive a double major or a minor.
