All campuses are accepting, welcoming and supportive at this college. The establishment aims to create a sense of community and cooperation on campus. This is available through the various extracurricular programs including sports and other non-academic clubs. In addition, the student community often hosts community events and meets, many of which take place at the Carl A. Rasmussen Amphitheater.
Across its two campus sites, the College of the Canyons has a wide range of facilities for different fields of study. In 2021, the college opened a specialist science and laboratory facility, the Don Takeda Science Center. Here students can use labs for biology, chemistry labs and physics. Furthermore, the main campus has a library, sports facilities and an outdoor amphitheatre that is the centre of many campus events.
