Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Game Development - Career Interest in Concept Art for Games
The MFA Game Development program allows students to further their careers by synthesizing traditional art and design fundamentals with today’s groundbreaking technologies. Students with a career interest in Concept Art for Games will learn the skills to conceptualize characters and set mood, feeling, time period, and location of a game. Concept artists will develop the style, color palette, mood, and physical attributes of environment, and costume, body type and facial features of the character. Students will be able to collaborate with art leads, creative directors, and game designers, and combine imagination with a high degree of artistic skill to concept all aspects of a game's productions from the smallest gameplay details to high-end marketing materials.
