Avila University is a Catholic University founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in 1916. It's located in Kansas City, Missouri. Library
The library provides a range of resources, including books, journals, and digital materials. The Hooley-Bundschu Library and Learning Commons is a modern reference centre offering over 30 databases and more than 40,000 print books.
Sports
Avila University also allows you to access fitness facilities and sports equipment. The Zarda Multisport Complex, affectionately known as "The Z," offers a turfed field suitable for softball, baseball, football, and soccer. The Mabee Fieldhouse includes a full-size basketball court, volleyball court, weight room, and dance room.
Laboratory
You can access advanced equipment, including microscopes, PCR thermocyclers, and neurophysiology tools, at Avila's labs. At the O’Rielly Hall, you'll find state-of-the-art facilities including biology labs, research labs, and shared spaces for chemistry and physics.
Cafeteria
You can relax or take a study break at the Beak & Bean Coffee Shop, located in the Marian Centre. It serves coffee, fresh-baked goods, and light meals.
Campuses
Avila’s main campus in Kansas City, Missouri, is a beautiful 50-acre space that gives you a peaceful and suburban setting. You'll be just 15 minutes from downtown. Plus, the Red Bridge Shopping Centre is nearby for food or coffee. In Kansas City, you can check out the Country Club Plaza, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and the Kansas City Zoo.
