AS in Computer Science
Computer science students may choose among several paths to meet requirements for the associate degree. There are three entry-level courses, Computer Science 130, 135, and 150 (C++, JAVA, and MATLAB), that each fulfill the requirements for any of the upperlevel courses. Students who complete the requirements listed below, plus additional general education and graduation requirements, will be awarded the associate degree. Due to the diversity among degree programs, students should talk with a counselor or faculty member about their career goals and transfer requirements as they prepare to make their class choices. All students should consult a counselor.
