MA Christian Education
The master of arts in Christian education at Concordia University Chicago prepares men and women who desire to serve in congregational settings as a parish educator or an educator trained to lead Christian education programs for children, youth and adults.
Candidates are trained to be Christian educators who exhibit high standards of professional competence and ethical practice. Graduate students receive a high-quality educational program that focuses on skills, dispositions, and Biblical and theological knowledge to be successful in serving congregations in the role as educator. The program offers two tracks:
Learning Objectives
- Enrich the student’s theological foundations.
- Hone and refine the student’s educational philosophy.
- Improve the student’s skills in areas of ministry in which the student would like to focus.
