Course Overview
This course provides a critical examination of the sources of armed conflict and the methods for building sustainable peace, combining perspectives from international relations, ethics, and conflict resolution. Students will explore the complex social, political, and economic issues surrounding political violence and peace processes, with opportunities for immersive learning through optional field trips. The program culminates in a significant research dissertation, allowing for deep specialization in a chosen area of peace studies.
