This course is designed to provide a thorough grounding in issues dominating contemporary thought on processes of mediation and cultural practice. Students have the opportunity to investigate key theoretical debates reshaping this expanding and diverse field. The coherence of the programme is achieved through close connections between core modules and specialised optional modules. You will have the opportunity to explore various aspects of the ecological entanglements of media, reflecting the research interests of the course team. You are encouraged to analyse 21st Century cultural processes and phenomena in a global context and to engage in reflexive, experimental research practice.
