BA International Media and Communications Studies

Communication defines us as human beings.

This degree gives you a chance to think critically about media and communication in your own society and in a global context.

Drawing on a range of approaches (such as sociology, communication theory, politics and cultural studies), you’ll explore:

Language learning is a compulsory part of the course. Choose from nine languages with classes tailored to your existing ability - both beginners and experienced speakers welcome!

You’ll also explore how culture shapes communication. Your language and cultural knowledge will enable you to create coursework in ways that suit you.
