Master of Social and Community Work (Applied)
This Master of Social and Community Work (Applied) is a taught masters (undertaken by papers) that engages students in critical approaches to theory, evidence and practice in social work.
This 240-point programme provides an option for students to undertake advanced-level study of the discipline of Social Work. The Masters in Social and Community Work (Applied) provides eligibility to register as a social worker with the Social Workers Registration Board (SWRB). This masters degree is offered both on campus, and by distance to people living in Aotearoa New Zealand. It consists of two years of full-time study, or the part-time equivalent.
