There are compulsory modules that cover essential topics such as marketing, how to manage people, purchasing and logistics. There are also many opportunities to gain practical experience of the business world, including work placements and hands-on challenges.You'll gain experience of working with industry, either through a year-long sandwich placement, an internship or a Professional Practice and Employability module. This module has input from employers and is an example of the way that employability informs this course and provides a strong base for your future career. You will also benefit from gaining the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) alongside their studies on the course.This degree can be studied in either our Treforest or Newport campuses.

  • The BA (Hons) Business Management is also available as a four year course including an integrated Foundation Year, and is designed for students who do not currently meet admissions criteria for direct entry onto the degree. You will start by completing a foundation year, which provides well structured support, allowing you to develop your skills and knowledge before continuing onto the three year degree programme. Please note: The integrated foundation year will be studied in Treforest.
