Western New England University was first established in 1919, and became a university in 2011. Located in Springfield, Massachusetts, the university offers around 50 undergraduate majors and more than 20 graduate programs to students.

The Center for the Sciences and Pharmacy features state-of-the-art laboratories outfitted with advanced equipment, enabling students in the sciences and pharmacy programs to engage in hands-on research and experiments. The campus also boasts a dedicated engineering building, equipped with specialised labs for disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering. The Wellness Center offers a fitness center, indoor track, and multi-purpose courts.
Western New England University offers an array of facilities designed to improve the academic experience. The recently renovated Blake Law Center houses a comprehensive law library, moot courtrooms, and modern classrooms equipped with cutting-edge audio-visual technology.
Students can check the calendar of events for exciting activities taking place on their doorstep such as Homecoming or Family & Friends Weekend. The student body is also active in creating fun societies such as Model United Nations and Forensic Science Club, for students to pursue their passions and make friends at the same time. 80% of students choose to spend their weekends on campus because of how many exciting activities there are to do.
Campuses
Springfield is informally known as a college town, meaning there are lots of fellow students to socialise with in nearby bars and restaurants. There are multiple museums, including the Springfield science museum, plus the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame that each celebrate a special part of Springfield history. Springfield has been voted among the top 100 best cities in the United States in which to live and the area is picturesque.
