Highlights
Located on a wonderful campus in the North-West of England and offering students access to universities that are experts in their field, the University places great emphasis on a strong student experience and employability.
Lancaster is one of only a few universities in the UK that has a collegiate system. This contributes to forging a strong sense of identity and loyalty and continues to characterize Lancaster's student life.
A thriving community of around nine colleges comprises students from 100 countries and creates a cultural campus, in a place where towns, coasts and countryside are combined.
Campuses
The Lancaster University campus is located at a vast 560-acre parkland site at Bailrigg. It is just three miles from Lancaster city centre and the Lancaster train station.
The campus has many restaurants and cafes, open spaces, a lake, and woodlands. The Bailrigg campus is home to Lancaster Arts, with its own theatre and art gallery.
Lancashire is a historic county in North West England, known for its beautiful countryside. It is popular for its iconic attractions like the Lancaster Castle, Lancaster City Museum, The Lake District, Windermere, Morecambe Bay, Forest of Bowland, Lancaster Canal, and many more.
