At present, Manukau does not have any on-campus accommodation options available. But students have plenty of alternative housing near the campus.
First, students can find shared houses or apartments, which they occupy with fellow students. Alternatively, students can rent a private house or apartment. But this can be a more costly option.
Other housing possibilities include lodging with a homestay family in the city. Both families and students can evaluate their living situation through Manukau to ensure high standards are met.
Currently, students will find a large on-campus library. Here, students can access course-specific books, articles, and computer resources and speak to qualified staff for book recommendations. Printing and computer resources are also available in the library.
Manukau has a personalised approach to teaching and learning. As a result, the class sizes are small and teachers know their students extremely well to provide the best possible support. Furthermore, many teachers know their students by name and help to create an inviting and homely atmosphere.
Also, students are encouraged to join clubs and participate in events to meet peers with similar interests and hobbies. The institution has many student-led clubs available to join. Students can also set up their organisation and invite others to join. In addition, the student union organises events and trips throughout the year.
