Campuses

London

The University of East London is based at three campuses across the east of the capital, in Stratford and Docklands. The campuses are based in a vibrant and thriving part of London with a lively nightlife and easy access to the centre of London. There are also plenty of green spaces nearby.

East London is the most cost-effective part of the capital city compared to other boroughs. Students at the Stratford campus can easily head to the Olympic Park and Westfields shopping centre. Those located on the Docklands campus can enjoy a stroll along the docks or take an Uber boat to see the city's tourist sights.

Cyprus DLR station is opposite the main entrance to Docklands, while Stratford DLR station is just five minutes from University Square Stratford and ten minutes from the main Stratford campus.

London is a unique city, known for its landmarks, museums, theatres, restaurants, clubs and shopping. It is a huge tourist attraction, cultural hub and centre for business and finance. London has more than 40 higher education institutions, making it an important international centre for learning and research.

Employability

UEL uses a career coaching tool to advise students and prospective students on careers, wages, etc., and to map out their options. Meanwhile, graduates leave with a Career Passport that provides employers with proof of each skill they’ve mastered as part of their course.

Students are also encouraged to volunteer in all courses or be involved in civic engagement projects. There is also a Professional Mentoring Scheme matching students with staff from their target industries and organisations.
