The University of Northampton is a public university located in the county of Northamptonshire, around 90 minutes from London.
The university's predecessor was opened in 1924 by the Duke and Duchess of York (later King George VI and Queen Elizabeth). It received full university status in 2005.
It ranked 93rd in the UK in The Guardian's 2021 University Rankings and has a TEF Gold Award. It also was named the Midlands' most 'Enterprising University of the Year' in both 2011 and 2012 for its work in social enterprise.

The Browns Way bus stop is just a 2-minute walk from the campus. The campus is opposite the Northampton Train Station.
