What sets Germany apart

Exams to prove academic qualifications and language proficiency are the ones you will commonly have to take to study in Germany. This includes exams like TestAS (Test for Academic Studies). To show your German language proficiency, you may need to take the TestDaF (Test of German as a Foreign Language) or DSH (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang). If the course is in English, obviously exams like TOEFL or IELTS need to be taken. Additionally, standardised tests like the GRE or GMAT may be required for certain postgraduate programs.
Well, the cost of studying in Germany is comparatively more affordable than other popular study destinations. And the best thing is that public universities in Germany usually don't charge tuition fees. However, if you're going to a private university, the tuition fee may range from EUR 5000 to EUR 20,000 per year. You can also expect a living cost in the range of EUR 850 to EUR 1300 every month.
The GPA you'll need to study in Germany depends highly on the university and program. There's no fixed minimum GPA for universities, but a general expectation for undergraduate programs is a GPA of 2.5 to 3.0 on a scale of 4.0. If the university is prestigious or the program is highly ranked, you'll need a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Universities also consider factors like your letters of recommendation, statement of purpose, work experience, passion for the field, and German language proficiency.
