There is currently much excitement surrounding the concepts of “big data” and “data science”. In many different sectors, there is a high and growing demand for skills in these areas. This degree provides these skills, along with a thorough grounding in Economics and Econometrics.
The degree is targeted at those who already have a strong background in Economics (i.e. at least an upper second class degree, or equivalent, in Economics).
