Auckland

Auckland is the biggest city in New Zealand in population terms and has a vibrant multicultural - there are more than 200 different cultural groups from around the world living here - energy. It was also rated the most liveable city in the world in the 2021 Economist Intelligence Unit’s annual survey, while QS ranked it as the 27th Best Student City in the world, based on the quality of education, student mix and quality of living. 

It’s a great student city, with five of New Zealand’s eight universities having campuses in Auckland with the University of Auckland, Auckland University of Technology, Manukau Institute of Technology, and Unitec Institute of Technology all based here and it’s a major draw for international students.
