German Foundation Year (Wildau Foundation Year Program)

This is a good option if you have completed your schooling with good grades and have a clear idea of what you want to study. The three trimester programme is a super-intensive course combining language and foundation courses at the Technical University of Applied Science Wildau.

• Wildau Foundation Year prepares its participants for their further studies at a university of applied sciences by providing preparation for the language, culture, and specific subject related fields and academic methodology
• Studies are divided into two or three semesters. The last semester ends with a final exam and German language test (DSH) which is mandatory for admission to a Bachelor programme of your choice
• The core academic program is supplemented by study visits to enterprises, research institutions, museums and other interesting sites in Germany, particularly in Berlin
• After successful graduation from the WFY program and after passing the German language test (DSH) you have the possibility to apply for studying at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau or one of the cooperating universities to pursue a Bachelor degree in the respective selected field of study
