Homeland Security and Emergency Management is an important aspect in today’s society. There are many different roles and responsibilities of governmental agencies, not-for-profit and private agencies, and other sectors in the case of an emergency.
This concentration presents a comprehensive overview of homeland security and emergency management from an all-hazards perspective. Threats to homeland security stemming from natural and technological disasters, domestic and international terrorism, and weapons of mass destruction are examined through the coursework in this program.
