BS Health Sciences: Pre-Nursing (East Falls Campus)
As a student in the Health Sciences BS/Pre-Nursing pathway, you will build strong skills in critical thinking and problem solving through foundation courses in the sciences, psychology and humanities on the East Falls campus. Through classes and co-curricular activities, you will participate in college life with students from other majors such as pre-med, health, engineering, architecture and design.
Throughout the program, you will experience leading-edge education from professional faculty. Our nursing students practice in actual clinical environments and put simulated experiences into practice in various hands-on clinical immersions, from acute care in emergency rooms, to outpatient and community healthcare settings.
The courses you’ll complete in the two-year Health Sciences portion of this program fulfill all necessary prerequisites for preferred placement in Jefferson’s College of Nursing BSN program. Students who meet all progression criteria are guaranteed a seat in the BSN program, which is offered at the Center City Campus and the Dixon Campus.
