MSc Health Data Science
Overview
The MSc in Health Data Science is aimed at students who wish to develop skills in statistics, computing and health informatics for health research. A set of four core modules will cover topics on foundations of statistics, epidemiology and health informatics including: statistical modelling and inference for health research; computer programming in R and Python; data sourcing and management and basic epidemiological study designs. Building on the core provision, you will choose one of two specialisms, Global Health (GH) or Health Informatics (HI), each consisting of four modules (15 credits each). You will then undertake a 12-week project in collaboration with partners from public health agencies and external research institutes.
