Students who choose the sandwich route find it helps with both their studies and getting a job after graduation. It can build your confidence, contacts, and of course your CV. To broaden your industry knowledge, the course team also arrange regular personal development sessions. These are generally provided by leading industry professionals and will assist you in choosing an appropriate area of civil engineering to enter on graduation. We also have close links with the Institution of Civil Engineers and host a number of regional events for you to attend.
Job Prospects
As a graduate engineer, you could work for consultants, contractors, local authorities or government agencies. You will be able to contribute to the design, construction and maintenance of a variety of infrastructure projects.
