OVERVIEW

As a professional economist or economic analyst, you could be working on some of society’s biggest questions. Such as, how do we make local economies stronger; what do we need to do to alleviate poverty in the UK and in developing countries; how do we decide which cancer treatments to invest in; can we reduce crime through improving schools; are lockdowns the best approach to controlling Covid-19?

This masters is designed to equip you with the skills to influence and advise on the important decisions we face. It will prepare you for a career as a professional economist in government, international NGOs, the health and pharmaceutical sectors and economic consultancies.
