Course Overview

The Master of Science in Safety is a comprehensive 36-credit-hour program designed to develop expert safety professionals who can protect employee health and safety across various industries. Students can specialize in either Occupational Safety and Health or the unique Mine Safety track, offered in cooperation with the National Mine Safety and Health Academy. The program culminates in a choice between a hands-on project or a research-based thesis, allowing for tailored professional development.
