Certificate IV in Ageing Support (International)

A worker in ageing support works with people from vastly different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Mothers, fathers, grandparents and great grandparents who need support from others to live with care or in care facilities. An Ageing Support work will:

• support the elderly at home and in regulated care services

• plan support activities to enhance socialisation, good mental health and physical condition of residents and clients

• set up indoor and outdoor activities and entertainment

• support residents and clients to exercise their mental agility
