Clinical Placement Information on Health and Social Work Courses

Clinical placements are an essential part of all health programmes to enable you to gain valuable work experience working with real patients and using the skills learnt in teaching.?? Whilst on clinical placement, students are supervised and supported by qualified health professionals.?? Additionally, further support is available from a link tutor from the university.
Each programme will differ with when their placements are and how long they will be.?? Please see the programme website for more specific information about this (links on the reverse).??

For all clinical placements we give students a wide range of experience in different settings and different specialities.?? For this reason, clinical placement sites can be located anywhere in London, the South and East of England.?? This will mean that you may have to travel or arrange local accommodation whilst on placement.
