South Seattle College was founded in 1969 in West Seattle, Washington. It is a part of the network of Seattle colleges in the Seattle college district: North Seattle College, Seattle Central College, and South Seattle College. Students can complete the first two years of a bachelor's degree program and get a Bachelor of Applied Science degree.
Around 500 international students represent approximately 50 countries on campus at South Seattle College. The College empowers students to be able to train for rewarding careers in a variety of professional/technical programs.
Students are encouraged to pursue a homestay option to fully immerse themselves in local American culture via the hospitality of a trusted local family.
