MA Human-Computer Interaction
Our interdisciplinary degree integrates concepts and methods from computer science, graphic design and the social sciences. Drawing upon these concepts and methods, you will learn user-centered design approaches as you create information and communication technologies such as websites, mobile apps, computer games and software design.
Choose between two tracks designed to focus solely on HCI influences or a professional track infused with business courses.
In this track you will focus more on hands-on learning in project-based and experimental settings. In addition, your knowledge and teamwork skills will be put to the test in multiple project courses taken throughout the program. Some students may also focus on research and end up with a culminating thesis.
This hybrid track cross-trains you with the core HCI curriculum with management, marketing and other industry relevant skills from our award-winning and nationally accredited MBA program.
