Graduate Diploma in Insurance Law
With streams in life insurance and general insurance, this course will give you a strong grounding in the theory and practice of Insurance Law. You will study the core unit Insurance Claims and Dispute Resolution and choose from a range of option units, allowing you to design the best course for you.

This new course, a first in Australia, will give you a strong grounding in the theory and practise of Insurance Law. It consists of four postgraduate units (24 points). You will study the core unit Insurance Claims and Dispute Resolution and Principles and Practice of General Insurance Law or Principles and Practice of Life Insurance Law, along with a choice of units including Select Topics in Insurance Law, Public Policy, Foundations of International Commercial Law, International Shipping Law, and more.
Students will be able to complete this course in 18 months to two years.
You may want to enrol in an insurance unit offered by the Graduate Diploma in Insurance Law without completing the full Graduate Diploma. You can choose to enrol as a CPD/Executive Education student in any one or more insurance units offered by the Graduate Diploma in Insurance Law without undergoing assessment. Upon completion, you will be provided with a certificate verifying your participation and you will be eligible for CPD points.
