Bachelor of Science in Sociology

During TROY’s coursework in the sociology program, you will learn to critically analyzesocial issues and develop research skills to study social problems like food insecurityand wage inequality. You will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on learningexperiences through our internship program with an opportunity to work in a varietyof settings from prisons to mental health agencies. These experiences will allow youto be part of research and public good projects that will enable you to take the skillsyou learn in the classroom and put them to the test. These experiences provide youvaluable learning opportunities that lead to employment and graduate school.
