MSc Experience & Service Design
Course overview:
The design of human experience within the creative industries requires a wide breadth of understanding unlike any other.
As a student on this unique Experience & Service Design course, you’ll learn to understand how the human experience can be designed and shaped to fit a range of scenarios, whether it is a fashion event, a festival, in retail or at a venue, and how that experience can hold a powerful societal, environmental and business impact.
You will be given the tools and techniques – through intellectual enquiry and project assignments - to become an expert in designing experiences and services for the creative industries, and become leaders in advancing the discipline. You will apply these techniques to try to tackle challenges of sustainability, societal issues and governance.
You will learn how design improves user and business value, and explore what challenges and opportunities there are within the creative industries, in terms of technology and business model innovation.
And, you will engage on a strategic and operational level in the design of experiences and services, potentially leading interdisciplinary design teams in the concept, design and realisation of innovative services.
