BA (Hons) Filmmaking
Our BA (Hons) Filmmaking degree is a ‘hands-on’ course, focusing on industry practices and conventions. You'll develop transferable skills for the independent film markets.
This degree recognised by industry professionals and delivers "strong emphasis on practical and vocational development" (Diarmid Scrimshaw, Producer ‘Tyrannosaur’). It prepares “exceptionally professional” students (Derrin Schlesinger, Producer, ‘This is England’, ‘Four Lions’, ‘Babylon’).
Through the success of this progressive programme we have seen students and graduates regularly appear in the credits of major TV and cinema releases. Our students have been Oscar nominated and have won the Royal Television Society awards more times than any other university in the North West.
