BA (Hons) Education Studies and English Language
During this course, you will study the fundamental structures and theoretical principles of English and language in general, and use them to understand and analyse spoken and written English discourse in context. This may include investigating sounds, word meanings, sentence structures, discourse analytical principles, child language acquisition, and language variation and change. Education Studies will provide you with an excellent knowledge of theory and practice in education. Combined with another subject, our course builds on the disciplines of Sociology, Philosophy, Psychology, Political Science and History to enable you to develop knowledge and skills in the academic study of education.Teaching takes place at the Parkgate Road Campus.
