The content of this course reflects the demands of contemporary interior design practice. In our course, we forefront the practice of design through concept development, prototypes, presentations, specialist software skills and hands-on experience with materials.

The ethos of the Department is that the study of art and design is a culturally and economically significant endeavour that is intellectually challenging and emotionally rewarding. Flexible learning spaces encourage active engagement between staff and students. You will learn via lectures; seminars; tutorials; tutor-/student-led discussion; technical and creative workshops; individual and group task activities; and individually directed and structured study.
Assessment
Assessment methods may include: in-class writing exercises; project rationales; strategic planning documents; material samples/mood boards; project presentations; written essays; creative projects; project/research journals; production notebooks; sketchbooks; individual/group practical projects; and personal development planning.
