This course aims to enable graduates from a non-conservation background to advance their knowledge and skills in the subject with access to a range of analytical equipment and technical expertise. You have the opportunity to learn from practitioners with extensive experience and can benefit from our team’s strong links with museums, professional bodies and heritage agencies. During this course, you will be expected to produce your own portfolios of specialist drawings and photographs, and have the chance to develop technical skills for the treatment of historic objects. You will be encouraged to take advantage of opportunities to become involved in live projects. Career and Personal Development: This programme is designed to provide students from non-conservation backgrounds with the opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding required to undertake the study of conservation at Masters level.
