University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) is a higher education provider in Nebraska, US. It is a public research facility that offers more than 200 accredited academic programs. The university opened in 1908 as a non-sectarian college. Today it provides education courses and resources for over 15,000 students from more than 80 different countries.

Omaha is a busy metropolis,which has around 1.2 million residents. A lively and welcoming community exists and there are also plenty of sites to see and explore. Students can take in some local shopping and food at the Old Market, Midtown Crossing or Aksarben Village.Also, the Holland Performing Arts Center and Film Streams host regular performances and events. There are also plenty of outdoor areas to explore, such as Lauritzen Gardens and Bob Kerrey Bridge.
