Biochemistry Teacher Certification

Teach North Texas is UNT's innovative math and science secondary level teacher preparation program. Part of the UTeach network, TNT's goal is to address the critical shortage of qualified STEM teachers by offering a chemistry with a focus on biochemistry teacher certification as part of your undergraduate degree. Upon completion of this program, students will be prepared to sit for the certification examinations in Chemistry.

If you are an undergraduate student interested in teaching high school science, then Teach North Texas is for you. Teach North Texas is UNT's innovative math and science secondary level teacher preparation program.

TNT lets interested students explore the teaching profession in an initial one-credit hour introductory course followed by a two-credit hour introductory course that can be taken as early as freshman year. Once in the program, students take courses that emphasize field experiences, teaching strategies, and concepts related specifically to the Biochemistry subjects the students will teach.
