BA (Hons) Musical Theatre
Train to be a Musical Theatre performer and experience real world work-based learning with Theatre Royal Plymouth while enjoying all the benefits of campus life at the University of Plymouth. Hone your acting craft alongside your peers, learn singing and acting-through-song in workshops and masterclasses and develop your dance skills in our sprung-floor purpose-built studios and award-winning theatre space. YEAR 1: Introduction to the primary elements of musical theatre, with teaching in acting, dance and singing culminating in an end of year showcase performance. YEAR 2: Deepen your training in Musical Theatre – learn advanced acting or dance techniques and synthesize these in production. Or choose to study acting for radio, for voice-over and computer games, or options in dramatic writing and musical performance. YEAR 3: Employability: build your professional digital profile, meet and network with agents and casting directors and perform in your final end of year showcase.
