Valencia students often move on to higher education in Florida. The DirectConnect to UCF route allows graduates to move on to a four-year course at the baccalaureate level at the University of Central Florida. One in four UCF students starts at Valencia College. However, international students can also gain work experience in Florida as part of their F-1 visa. As a result, many students work on campus, for up to 20 hours per week.
