The College provides on-campus accommodation in downtown Orlando at Union West Student Living. Here students can stay in modern apartment-style accommodations with all the necessary amenities. These include a personal mini-fridge, WIFI, cable TV and individual or shared living options.

Alternatively, Valencia support staff can help international students to find off-campus accommodation. Some alternative options include a homestay with a local family in Orlando, shared or private apartments or hotel living.

Employability

Valencia students often move on to higher education in Florida. The DirectConnect to UCF route allows graduates to move on to a four-year course at the baccalaureate level at the University of Central Florida. One in four UCF students starts at Valencia College. However, international students can also gain work experience in Florida as part of their F-1 visa. As a result, many students work on campus, for up to 20 hours per week. Also, students can utilise the Career and advisement centre, which provides resources, advice and employment support.
